About Us
Africa - China trade relations date back to the dawn of the 21st century, and by the 1990s, has increased by an astronomical 700%. Today, the relationship continues to bloom, making China to become Africa's largest trading partner. The phenomenal growth in trade relations, while contributing immensely to the growth and development of African and Chinese economies, ushered in myriads of challenges for the average African trader and their Chinese counterparts.
Some of these challenges are rooted in culture and communications and manifest in business areas of finance, marketing, legal and regulatory and logistics. To mitigate these challenges and pave the way for a robust, seamless, and mutually beneficial business relationship, the Africa – China Traders Conference was instituted as a forum where issues on international business relations are shared and solutions proffered through a creative and participatory communication process. This forum will be driven by an annual conference which proposes to hold in China and some select African cities.
With the goal of "Breaking Business Barriers," AfriChat seeks to stimulate ease of doing business in the areas of culture, communication, finance, logistics, customer relationship and regulatory affairs.
The Conference presents diverse opportunities in business-to-business relationships, and participants will learn from professionals drawn from governments, public institutions as well as private sector enterprise who have substantial experience in the areas of focus.
OUR MISSION
